Tax Efficient Investments

Whilst investment return is important, perhaps more important is tax efficiency. Why scramble for an extra few percentage points return when you could save multiples of that in income tax, capital gains tax or estate tax.

Overview of the Elite service

Depending on your short, medium and long term residential intentions, and depending on your potential retirement destination, our Elite service helps structure your investment portfolio for tax efficiency at every life stage. Maybe you currently reside in the tax benign Middle East, or elsewhere where tax has higher impact… Perhaps you intend to move to a country, for example the UK, where early tax planning is vital… Sometimes tax planning is secondary and a simple investment strategy is for you, but being ready to rebase tax efficiently ahead of repatriation to your home country. Whatever your circumstances and whatever the future may hold, using the correct structure to provide flexibility and future proof your planning is at the heart of what we do at Elite.

What Elite could do to help?

Our Elite service is best suited to high net worth individuals with liquidity to invest now and in the future. Perhaps you have significant surplus income to build or enhance your liquidity position. You may have future capital needs for specific events such as purchase of your forever home, generation of income to live your dream retirement, fund the best education for a loved one or help them with their first home purchase.

Case study

Adam and Claire have been referred to dV Elite and provided the following information ahead of the first meeting.

Dubai has been home for 6 years, both in their early 50’s and have 2 teenaged daughters who will likely attend UK universities. Retirement to the UK is intended in 5 – 10 years, they have significant liquid savings and investments showing profits, variable levels of surplus income and both have UK pensions. A large UK property used to be their family home but is currently tenanted and will probably be downsized when they repatriate. They intend to financially assist their daughters through education and will only retire once financial independence for the children is largely achieved. They own their home in Dubai which will probably be sold around the time they leave.
